        "I became scared of roaches when I was three years. I was standing in my parent's bathroom one day watching my mother put on her makeup, and my daddy was sitting on a chair observing me. All of a sudden, daddy jumped off his chair and started swatting my leg with the book he was reading. Mommy dropped her hair brush on the counter and yelped, "What on earth are you swatting his leg for, Eric?" He looked at her and replied, "I was swatting at a roach that was on him, that's all."

        I started screaming and jumping all over the place making it difficult for daddy to get the roach off. Mommy had to make me stand still so he could. It took all of five minutes."
